Hello Everyone, Its your girl and today I'd be sharing with you all the different types of behaviour possessed by different individuals all around the world. Just as there are different pose of my face above that is how different individuals wear different behaviour although so many person can wear a particular kind of behaviour. Before I go further into the different human behavior possessed by different individuals I'll give one clear and self explained definition of behaviour by a known author.
According to Coon 1986, behavior can be defined as any activity or action of a living organisms manifested conscious or unconscious which can be observed directly or indirectly.
Basically there are two types behaviours namely
- Covert.
- Overt.
But for the sake of acquiring more knowledge purposes, I'll be writing on other types of behaviour.
Overt Behaviour: This includes all such activity or actions of living organisms that observed directly by another person as such actions manifest. E.g sleeping, snoring Eating , Eating , Running, Laughing, Cooking, Crying and our assessment of others as our interaction with then are based on overt behavior.
Covert Behaviour: Includes internal, physiological process and activities of individuals that can't be seen openly or observed directly merely by looking except by the use of special instrument or techniques, E. Dreaming, Thinking, Wood pressure, Digesting processing, Changes in your pulse rate etc.
Genetically Inherited Behaviour: This includes all such behaviours that are transferred from parents to their offspring through genetic process and such behaviour trait that are particular to people that are of the same biological process.
Socially Acquired Behaviour: These are behaviour patterns that are acquired either consciously or unconsciously by interacting with people from different cultural group or background. This also include such behaviours developed through the process of formal learning/socialisation. We develop language skills from people that speaks that very language very well.
Behaviour can also be classified into formal and informal.
Formal behaviour are behavioural patterns that follows certain laid down principles aimed at achieving a particular goal or objectives. E.g our behaviour at working or learning situation are usually formal in behaviour. These aspects of behaviour studies within business management and is referred to as organisational behaviour.
Informal behavior includes those behavioural patterns that are expressed as we interact with others or relate with our social environment casually. This behaviour is said to be informal when it does not follow laid Down rules or principles.
