Life can be so boring at times, especially when you're alone at home. When you've finished all your work and you have nothing to do anymore, then the day becomes boring. People either take rest or go outside for a walk and well, that's good. As long as you're doing something, you're not wasting your time.
I used to do the same like going to walk outside or browsing YouTube videos at home for passing my time. Though it is rare to have such a free time nowadays due to the load of work, I spare my time on purpose to entertain myself, to have the feeling of freshness and avoid exhaustion.
Today, I thought that I'll share what I do in my free time at home with Steem community and how I cure my boredom. In fact, it can literally change your life and you won't feel bored after today if you'd copy what I do. The Steem blockchain and its apps changed my life completely and also my vision towards social media, and I'm very thankful to the community for that because you are the reason of such a great success of Steem!
# 1 - Browsing DTube For Watching Videos:
Gone are the days when I used to watch videos on YouTube excessively (though I still browse YouTube for videos such as pranks and social experiments) but when I want to watch videos such as Gameplay, Analysis or the videos of davidpakman, then DTube is a no-brainer for me.
I watch the vlogs of and
with huge interest and I say to myself "man, they definitely worth my time". A lot of times I thought to comment on their vlogs but due to the load of other works, I always said to myself "Well, next time" but today, I want to say "Thanks" to both of them for sharing their thoughts on important matters, such as SBD price, SMT and how newbies can start earning decent income through Steemit (the video of
).
If you want to do the same, then I suggest you act today. Go to http://d.tube and start watching any video you like. DTube is the great alternative of YouTube where you get paid without showing any kind of ads before/during/after your video and if you produce good content, you can start earning from your first video. DTube's full weight vote is worth $480. You can receive a portion of that upvote to your video, so act today.
# 2 - Browsing dMania for Having Some Laugh:
Whenever I browse dMania, it doesn't disappoint me and delivers more than my wish. Just now, I opened dMania main page and saw some great memes that were too funny. And if you are bored at home and don't have anything to do, then dMania is your choice.
Though I haven't posted anything on any of those sites exclusively, I'm planning to contribute there soon. Before dMania, I used to find memes on sites like giphy. Though dMania just started to do well, there are enough memes every day and they should be enough to enjoy. In short, the part of my free time goes to dMania, to have some good laugh.
# 3 - Watching Pranks and Social Experiments on YT:
DTube is surely an alternative for YouTube but it is still lacking some content which I believe will be there with time. I think that DTube can attract a large number of visitors and grow in terms of user-base if famous pranksters like Johal start posting their pranks on DTube too. But the same thing can be achieved by you too. Pranks are good as long as they are under certain limits. So, give it a go, fellows.
I browse YouTube specifically to watch the pranks from P4Pakao, Johal, and ItzRebel channel. The first channel "P4Pakao" used to be very funny in the early days but their pranks are getting boring day by day, so I focus on Johal and ItzRebel channel instead because of their quality prank videos. So, that's another way of mine to cure boredom.
Anyways, hope you've enjoyed the post. If you are new on Steemit and want some exposure, you should try using DTube, DMania, and Utopian to gain some exposure. At Utopian, you can contribute to open source programs and get rewarded. I am the moderator at Utopian, so if you have any problem, you can hit me up either on Discord or via Steemit.Chat. I can't share my Discord username in public but you'll find me through Utopian official discord. Don't forget to follow me at .
