The last few days I have spent a lot of time reading posts from some of the early adopters of Steemit...and from these posts + comments, I am sure that same like me there's a lot of steemians out there who are so confused right now!!!

Not everyone here on steemit is crypto savvy...so some explanation of what is going on would be great to many of us here!
Please explain in simple words so that we can all understand!
How come the price of steem is going down like that all of a sudden!? Anyone manipulating it?
Witnesses earning big but are nowhere to be seen contributing on the platform!

Do big stakeholders want steem/steemit to grow or are they simply here for their own benefits only???
As you read in the title of this post...I am CONFUSED and I know there many more in the same situation like me right now!
Here we have people raping the reward pool like crazy so many times per day, others are losing their voting power to downvote those abusers - these votes could have been used in so many other beneficial ways to help grow people here!
On the other hand the price of steem is crashing...witnesses are nowhere to be seen...developments of Steem/Steemit remain only a promise...
