In 2012, while the hotel I was working in Mauritius was closed for renovation, I got the golden opportunity to travel to the Maldives and work in a top 5 star hotel, The W Maldives Retreat and Spa for couple of months!
This is where I landed and enjoyed nearly 3 months...one of the most beautiful places i've ever been to! The hotel I was working was also a top notch one...offering high quality food and beverage selections for its guests..

People working in the hotel in Maldives came mainly from Maldives, India, Sri Lanka and Philippines...all of them were such great artists and always delivering amazing food quality! It is rare to work with a team with such great talent!

Maldives is as I said a very beautiful country where you get wonderful products to work in the kitchen surrounded with top quality staffs...the only negative thing I can think of is that you can get bored really quickly staying on such a small island for long...
