I want to start this review, which is focused on debate, with a storytelling. It was the 2000s, and I enjoyed watching various very commercial anime of the time on Cartoon Network. I was about 13 years old when I discovered the anime Sakura Card Captor, and I remember very well the impact it had on me to see one of the characters blush at another character of the same sex.... My thought was, “That scene is strange,” haha.
How could it not be, since it's not common to see that kind of relationship between characters, but because it's animated, it maintains innocence. it didn't cause me any rejection. Instead, it made me want to see how that relationship developed, which was also embellished with a kind of love triangle. The impact was there, but my curiosity was positive in terms of wanting to see the story unfold. I think this is something that also affected a large part of the audience because I consider this to be a very beloved and well-known anime here in America and in Asia.

Esta reseña enfocada como un debate quiero iniciarla con un Storytelling, era la década de los 2000 y yo disfrutaba de ver variados animes muy comerciales de la época en Cartoon Network, yo tenia aproximadamente 13 años y conocí el anime de Sakura Card Captor que recuerdo muy bien el impacto que me dio ver uno de sus personajes sonrojarse con otro personaje del mismo sexo.... mi pensamiento fue "que extraña esa escena" jaja 😅
Como no serlo si no es lo habitual ver ese tipo de relación entre personajes pero al ser animada mantiene inocencia, eso no me causo rechazo, lo que me dio fueron mas ganas de ver como se desarrollaba esa relacion que ademas se adornaba en una especie de triangulo amoroso, el impacto estaba allí pero la curiosidad era positiva para ver la historia, pienso es algo que también afecto a gran parte de la audiencia porque considero este es un anime muy querido y conocido aquí en América y en Asia.

Con este ejemplo que toma como muestra central el anime de Sakura quiero extrapolar la idea a otros animes que quizás hayas visto como Sailor Moon, One Punch Man, Bleach, Ranma 1/2 etc que han tenido uno que otro personaje con esta tendencia pero indudablemente Sakura si que entra en profundidad con el titulo de esta reseña ya que lo desarrolla y se vuelve parte esencial de una historia vista por niños.
Pienso que el elemento Live Action o real es lo que afecta negativamente hablando a los productos americanos, de esto haré otro post luego con un enfoque en lo real, ya que en esta reseña lo que mas quiero debatir y que a la vez me impresiona y lo plantee al inicio de este post con mi Storytelling, es que niños vimos este tipo de romance en Sakura y considero nos impacto y a la vez nos pareció normal.
Muchas veces se plantea que este tipo de cosas en una historia pudiera influenciar a los niños negativamente pero yo pienso que no, en el Anime hay muestras de ello, aquí en este post justamente comento un ejemplo practico que demostró a la final lo que importa es la historia a desarrollar y que se plantee narrativamente bien como lo hizo Sakura Card Captor.
