Jabal Rahmah is a hill where the meeting place of Prophet Adam and Siti Hawa came together after being separated and revealed from Allah's Heaven, Jabal Rahmah itself is a rock hill.
From the origin of the word, the word rahmah means love. A name taken from a famous story among Muslims, the story of the meeting between Adam and Eve after so long not meeting. When Adam and Eve were revealed to earth, they were placed separately. abal Rahmah which is a rock hill with a height of only about 70 meters and can be climbed through steep rocks. A trip from the bottom of the hill to get to the Adam and Eve monuments usually takes around 15 minutes.
Based on the opinion of the Ulama study, released from ‘Hajj from Time to Time, the possibility of Prophet Adam being revealed in the country of India, while Eve was revealed in Iraq. At that point there is now a white monument that marks the meeting of the first two humans.
Not only the meeting place of Adam and Eve, but Jabal Rahmah is also one of the hills that was the place where the last revelation was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad when he made a visit. As the Word of Allah swt in QS Al-Maidah which means:
"Today the unbelievers have despaired to (defeat) your religion, so do not fear them and fear Me. Today I have perfected you My blessings, and Ku Ridhai Islam has become a religion for you. "
On the peak of Jabal Rahmah a rectangular concrete monument was built with a width of approximately 1.8 meters and a height of 8 meters. Towards this hilltop, adequate infrastructure is built to make it easier for visitors to reach it. This infrastructure is in the form of a ladder with 168 stairs leading to the top of Jabal Rahmah.
The Saudi clerics themselves have stressed that visiting pilgrimage to Jabal Rahmah is not a disunnah, moreover obligatory, in fact many pilgrims come and pray and raise their arms there when they leave. Moreover Indonesian pilgrims, they packed this hill when they arrived on the 9th of Dzulhijjah. No wonder we find scribbles on the names of Indonesians in the white monument monument.
