The qurban includes the most important charity. The mother of 'Aisha radhiyallahu'anha narrated that the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said, "It is not the son of Adam to perform a deed on the Day of Nahr (Iedul Adha) which is more beloved by Allah than the flow of blood (qurban), then you should be pleased for it. (Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Al Hakim with authentic sanad, see Taudhihul Ahkam, IV / 450)
The above hadith is recited by Shaykh Al-Albani (dhaif Ibn Majah, 671). But the upheaval of hadith above does not lead to the loss of the virtue of sacrifice. Many scholars explain that slaughtering qurban animals on the day of Eid al-Adlha is more important than the alms worth or the price of animals qurban or even alms more than the value of animal qurban. Because the most important purpose in berqurban is to get closer to God. Besides, slaughtering qurban more shows syi'ar islam and more in accordance with the sunnah (see Sahih Fiqh Sunnah 2/379 & Syarhul Mumthi '7/521).
For animal owners qurban allowed to use qurbannya meat, through.
