Greetings dear lovers of the great animated works that we call animes; This time I come to present my latest work of art, it is a FAN-ART that I have been doing this last week on a small wooden canvas that does not measure more than 18cm x 21cm and using some basic school paintings. Saludos queridos amantes de las grandiosas obras animadas que llamamos animes; en esta oportunidad vengo a presentar mi última obra de arte, es un FAN-ART que he venido realizando esta última semana en un pequeño lienzo de madera que no mide mas de 18cm x 21cm y haciendo uso de unas pinturas escolares básicas.
As everyone who has appreciated my previous work already knows, I am fascinated by anime and everything related to animation (regardless of whether it is Asian or not); for this work I decided to represent an emblematic character of Japanese animation created by the author HAYAO MIYAZAKI for one of his famous animated films called "EL CASTILLO VAGABUNDO" by studios GHIBLI. Como ya saben todos los que han apreciado mis anteriores trabajos, me fascinan los animes y todo lo que tiene relación con la animación (sin importar si es asiática o no); para este trabajo decidí representar a un personaje emblemático de la animación japonesa creado por el autor HAYAO MIYAZAKI para una de sus famosas películas animadas llamada "EL CASTILLO VAGABUNDO" de estudios GHIBLI.
I started this drawing from the center to be able to more effectively dispose of the space on the canvas; The first thing I did was the content that is being cooked in the pan and then go on to draw the pan, and little by little the work is making sense. Dí inicio a este dibujo desde el centro para poder disponer de manera mas efectiva del espacio en el lienzo; lo primero que hice fue el contenido que se esta cocinando en el sartén y luego pase a dibujar el sartén, ya poco a poco va adquiriendo sentido la obra.
The character that I selected to draw is called "CALCIFER" he can be considered as the source of energy that gives life to the entire castle, if its flame were to be extinguished the castle could collapse. El personaje que seleccioné para dibujar es llamado "CALCIFER" él se puede considerar como la fuente de energía que da vida a todo el castillo, si se llegara a apagar su llama el castillo podría derrumbarse.
Then I went on to paint the woods where Calcifer was leaning to heat the pan and I also gave life to a couple of statuettes that were in the scene as ornaments (I have to investigate a little more about the meaning of those statuettes). Despues pasé a pintar las maderas donde se apoyaba Calcifer para calentar el sartén y también le dí vida a un par de estatuillas que se encontraban en la escena como adornos (tengo que investigar un poco mas sobre el significado de aquellas estatuillas).
Finally, I added color to the background of the scene, I highlighted the texture, I added dimension so that it does not look like a flat and simple image; This entire creation process took me a period of 6 days working about 4 hours a day, I was satisfied with the result obtained. Por último le agregué color a el fondo de la escena, le resalté la textura, aporte dimensión para que no se viera como una imágen plana y simple; todo este proceso de creación me tomó un periodo de tiempo de 6 días trabajando unas 4 horas por día, quedé satisfecho con el resultado obtenido.
Miyazaki's works in collaboration with studio ghibli are great, a unique visual experience that in order to capture all the message that the author tries to convey, you have to watch each feature film repeatedly; I have seen a lot of his movies and I will never tire of that great art. Las obras de Miyazaki en colaboración con el estudio ghibli son grandiosas, una experiencia visual únicas que para poder captar todo el mensaje que él autor intenta trasmitir hay que ver cada largometraje repetidas veces; yo he visto una gran cantidad de sus películas y nunca me cansaré de ese grandioso arte.
