In the beginning of Pokémon GO Professor Willow gives you the chance to choose one of three Pokémon - Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle. If you’re a 90s kid like me you’ll remember this selection from Pokémon Red and Blue...but what about Pikachu for those Yellow version fans? Well lucky enough there’s a way to get Pikachu as your starter and it’s incredibly easy!
When Professor Willow gives you the option to pick one of the three, don’t. Just walk away. Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle will continue to pop up as you walk. Keep walking away and eventually Pikachu will be among the group to choose from. It’s that easy! Pretty neat Easter Egg, right!
