Mars. The red planet, or a chocolate bar. Whichever way you look at it, it's damn tasty. Regardless of the dangers involved, we must persevere to reach our closest, neighbouring alien world.
As it was in the days of antiquity, it would not be fair to our great explorers of the past if we didn’t go. I for one, am uber excited about this voyage, and hope it will happen sooner rather than later.
Yes, we know there are dangers involved, mainly space radiation. However, with the advancements of technology today, we will find a way. It would be much smoother if there were no obstructions of doubt.
Hell, for all we know… the Military is on the red planet already. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Not one bit.
When we do reach Mars, will we organize its colonies with fairness and just laws?
Or will we consume the ground and bleed the sky as we are doing back here on Earth?
Your thoughts?
Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Earth: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.
