You might have heard it already: there are websites that let your computer mine cryptocurrencies for other as long as you are on their site.

One of these websites is YOUTUBE ! Of course not directly but indirectly.
How do they do this ?
Well, they use the advertisements. The big advantage for those who do that is that you might stay long on the youtube site to watch a long video ... while mining for someone else.

Actually it's of course not only youtube. It can happen to you everywhere when Google ads pop up.
So the real source is the Google advertisement service.

Are you protected ?

Here is how I protected my network - there are more possibilities to protect yourself. I choosed to do so in my router.
