if you have the gift of time, and want luxury of space, if you feeling a little fancy and want to spoil your self silly, plantation bay is the place to. In my opinion, hands down the best resort in the mactan island, Cebu and ill tell you why.
Living in Cebu, as we may all know Mactan island is highly commercialized due to the tons of tourists it attracts, therefore for someone who has been in Cebu city for long already knows the way around to affordable resorts, most of which are a little far from the city, but would not cost even half of the amount you would spend on most resorts on the mactan island . But if you have a little bit of $$ to speare thn why not. doesn't necessarily mean you are a rich kid, right?
i have always wanted to visit this gem piece of heaven for ages, but the thought of the cost always held me back. Dont judge me guys, am still recovering from being a student who always had to squeeze pesos and manage to live on a budget , considering i am self sponsoring in a foreign country. Anyway..
this fateful day, i decided why not!, right? WHY NOT?couple friends of mine visiting the country decided to relax on their last day before flying back to the states and this was the perfect way to end their trip to the Philippines.
we just went there for the day use (did not spend the night), so i will tell u about the day use package, but before i get into that, let us take few moments more enjoying this scenery.
i did not want to leave this place, at all and the day was not enough to even go around all of it. we were just sort of rushing at every spot, because we went mid morning and had to leave early to beat the traffic hold up back to the city.
As you can see from the above photo, from some rooms, guests can jump right into the water from their verandas.. there's magic and symphony in that water.

This resort is truly an adventure in its self, i felt like i was at my own private estate.. lol
it is very child friendly and alot of activities for the young ones too, very family friendly.
