Hello Sketchbook Community.
Today I will share with you a drawing inspired by Tim Burton and Caroline Thompson's movie, Edward Scissorhands; it is one of my favorite movies and since I like black and white art I decided to practice this illustration, as I have mentioned in previous occasions I am an Adobe Illustrator trainee and all the drawings I share are done with passion.
I'm open to critics that allow my growth as an artistic content creator, I would appreciate your comments.
Hola Comunidad de Sketchbook.
Hoy compartiré con ustedes un dibujo inspirado en la película de Tim Burton y Caroline Thompson, Edward Scissorhands; es una de mis películas favoritas y como me gusta el arte en blanco y negro decidí practicar esta ilustración, como he mencionado en anteriores ocasiones soy Aprendiz de Adobe Illustrator y todos los dibujos que comparto los hago con pasión.
Estoy abierta a las criticas que permitan mi crecimiento como creadora de contenido artístico, apreciaría mucho sus comentarios.
Before I start making the strokes, I like to adjust the original image so that the colors look more intense, and it is easier for me to identify all the details of the original photo.
Once that step is done, I create a layer of guide lines, I organize all the brushes that I will use; in my case I already have brushes that I have created from scratch for drawing lines and hair.
Antes de empezar a hacer los trazos, me gusta ajustar la imagen original para que los colores parezcan más intensos, y me resulta más fácil identificar todos los detalles de la foto original.
Una vez hecho ese paso, creo una capa de líneas guía, organizo todos los pinceles que usaré; en mi caso ya tengo pinceles que he creado desde cero para dibujar líneas y cabellos.
For the color filling I create another layer, I help myself with the Pencil tool, Pencil tool and the brush.
Para el relleno de color creo otra capa, me ayudo con la herramienta Lápiz, herramienta pluma y el pincel.
Hair, is the part that I like to draw the most, I create a layer just for hair and I use my brushes to draw hair; I give volume until I am satisfied with the result or reach a similarity to the original photo.
El cabello, es la parte que más me gusta dibujar, creo una capa sólo para el cabello y uso mis pinceles para dibujar pelo; le doy volumen hasta que estoy conforme con el resultado o llego a una similitud con la foto original.
To finish I create a layer for details, so far the most difficult thing for me is to draw nose, at first I didn't get it very well.

Para terminar creo una capa para los detalles, hasta ahora lo más difícil para mí es dibujar la nariz, al principio no me salió muy bien.
