There is this popular saying which goes like this practice make perfect, well well well I am indeed one of the example of this phrase and that is because I am have done it again and I got rewarded for it...
Some months ago, I shared a particular post of how I came to win the best poem amongst others in a giveaway hosted by the DRAGON in the city, after that beautiful win, we stopped getting poem giveaways and it was like the skills I had just started adapting to was about to leave me but one thing never changed and that is my constant practice and rough work....
Okay guys , without waisting much of your time, I am going to share some beautiful poems with you all today and what the poem entails and why it was necessary...
In the city, based on the second giveaway instructions, we were tasked to write a poem about someone who was very active in the past but Is no longer active now expressing how much we miss them and want them back soon....
Yeah, the above picture is the guidelines and instructions on what the poem should be all about..
As usual we were given time duration to work with and that is 10 minutes to be precise and it was at this moment my hand started shaking and shivering because I don't really know much about the oldbies but I had a clue which I used to my advantage and that made me a winner today in the giveaway...
When we talk of goodness and
kindness you are indeed one of
the best definition of friendship,
fun and beautiful company...
We started this city together
and all of a sudden you
became scarce and you left me and some of the oldbies to
enjoy the good times ourself...
When we talked about goodness and stillness you are
still the very best definition of this...
You became a pope in the
earlier days and now we find
your presence missing in
this beautiful times, the City
cries out for your beautiful
company @jlordc...
The dragon misses you and
the good old times, even the
newbies of the city wishes to
have you here because they
have only heard of your good
deeds but they haven't seen or talked to you...
We miss you so much
@jlordc and we want you
back soon, we long for your
presence and we want a
reminsce of the good old days once again...
Grace us with your presence
once again, the dragon wants
you back, we want you back
and the newbies want you
back @jlordc...
We still want you to fill the
city with your meekness and
stillness, I am sure if you were
to see this @jlordc you will be
happy to be back with the
family...
We look forward to the day

In summary, we were able to talk about the old city members even without having getting to know them but one thing stood out and that was their good deeds...
In conclusion, we submitted our entry and the dragon needed some time to digest it and taaaadaaa 🌹🌹🌹 I won the First and that is a 100 percent vote while my friend
