Mein Start in die Welt der FPV Racing Drohnen

I have been flying drones for a couple of years. I was more interested in filming and taking pictures with my DJI Phantom on my travels than the flying itself. This attitude completely changed by end of 2015/2016 after I saw this Video on Youtube:

Mit Drohnen habe ich bereits seit ein paar Jahren zu tun. Da ich durch die Fotographie dazu gekommen bin, interessierte mich das Fliegen weniger als der zusätzliche Blickwinkel auf meinen Reisen. Das änderte sich Anfang 2016, nachdem ich mir dieses Video angeschaut habe:

Suddenly the feeling of flying got more interesting and the passion for speed kicks in.

Urplötzlich rückte das Photografieren, was ich immer noch leidenschaftlich mache, in den Hintergrund und die Geschwindigkeit beim Fliegen bekam seinen Reiz.

Mein Problem? - My Problem?

I am not really the kind of person who really works with his hands. I can hardly build up a Lego set and got challenged by me lil nephew every time. I was always this nerdy geek with the thick glasses on his nose, (Thank god they invented contact lenses) who spend way too many hours, days and years in front of his computer.

Bis zu dem Zeitpunkt hatte ich noch nie in meinem Leben etwas zusammen gebastelt außer mal ein Lego Set mit meinem Neffen. Ich war schon immer ein Computer Nerd. Der Asiate mit der dicken Hornbrille (OMG war ich froh, dass mir der Arzt irgendwann Kontaktlinsen erlaubte.) der viel, zu oft und zu lang am Bildschirm hing.

Hive account@tuongvile and I learned how the electronics work, how to solder and how to completely build up a racing drone with all the lil tiny pieces we ordered from China. Now, a lot of people ask me if I am an engineer after taking a look at my drone. Some believe that it is normal for a Japanese guy but my parents are from Viet Nam :D

Hive account@tuongvile und ich lernten die Elektronik zu verstehen, das erste Mal Löten und zu improvisieren… zu basteln. Viele schauen sich meinen Copter an und fragen mich erstaunt, ob ich Ingenieur bin. Andere behaupten: "Typisch Japaner". Dabei bin ich noch nicht mal einer :D

We are living in a very interesting era, where everyone who got access to the internet and has got enough time can learn almost everything.

The sad thing is… not everyone is taking the first step. You rather looking for excuses why you are not able to or shouldn't do something than just taking the first step.

Ich habe das Gefühl, dass wir in einer sehr interessanten Zeit leben, wo jeder, der Zugang zum Internet und genug Zeit hat alles lernen kann.

Das Traurige ist, dass viele nicht anfangen. Dass man eher bemüht ist Gründe zu finden, warum man etwas nicht machen soll, will oder kann… anstatt einfach mal anzufangen.

Mittlerweile haben

Hive account@tuongvile und ich unsere Copter ziemlich gut unter Kontrolle. Wir lieben es, zusammen fliegen zu gehen. Neue Orte ganz anders zu entdecken und zu erforschen.

Whatever you wish to do or to be. Go get it!
Start with your first step. It ain't easy. It never is.
You won't make it with your first attempt but you surely will.

Was immer es auch ist, das du dir wünschst zu tun oder zu sein. Mache den ersten Schritt. Einfach ist der erste Schritt nie. Sofort klappen tut es auch nicht… und trotzdem haben wir es geschafft.

Fahrradfahren, schwimmen, laufen…

Mit dem Fahrrad die Kaiserstadt Hue (Vietnam) entdecken.
In Australien mit Delphinen schwimmen.
Mit meinem Neffen um die Wette vom Spielplatz nach Hause laufen.
