Loving reflection and creating a sphere in a sphere by accident. And suddenly I ended up with the perfect photo for this week's #KillerPix Contest
Where most people will photograph the Chicago Cloud Gate from the front, I tried the side of the massive stainless steel bean-shaped sculpture. Little did I know that it would blow up like this, into a massive sphere-like mirror. It was mostly my luck holding the camera just at the right height and angle. Because, for your information, I only saw the result of this photo back in my hotel when I was able to connect my phone to the camera again.
I took this photo May last year, during one of my most amazing trips so far: Going coast to coast on the Amtrak. I fell in love with this park in Chicago and the Bean played a huge part in that.
