Today my husband and I prepare this recipe, one of our kids' favorite vegetable recipe. This one is easy to prepare and I am sure if you cook this recipe for your kids they will surely love this too.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 medium size of cabbage
- 1/4 kilo of shrimp medium size will do
- 1/2 kilo or pork belly
- 1 medium size of white onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 3 tbsp. of cooking oil
- ground pepper (optional)
- shrimp juice
- salt to taste
PREPARATION
- Sliced the cabbage into medium sizes like this
- Wash the cabbage then set aside
- Wash the shrimp
- Remove the shrimp's shell and head then get mortar and pestle then crash the head into tiny pieces
- Put 1 glass of water into the mortar and pestle together with the crashed head of shrimps then put it into a strainer to get the shrimp juice.
- Clean the pork belly then slice it into strip
- prepare the minced onions and garlic
PROCEDURE
- Pre-heat the pan then put cooking oil
- Saute garlic until golden brown
- Next saute' the onions until translucent
- Put the pork belly and saute them together with the onions and garlic.
- Stir fry the pork belly until become tender.
- After that put the shrimp juice then cover the pan and simmer it for about 2minutes
- Next, put the cabbage and shrimp into the pan, then keep on stirring it
- Add salt and pepper according to your taste.
- Then cover the pan for 2 minutes then check when the cabbage is already cook (Do not over cook the cabbage, maintain its crunchiness)
- Serve it with plane rice
