Labeling People ‘Climate Change Deniers’ Merely Reveals the Attacker’s Ignorance

Unpopular Opinion:

I'm a climate change skeptic

I'm not a denier, but often find myself being attacked for asking questions. If there were convincing arguments wouldn't they be using those instead of calling me names and shaming me? Who does this?

What can we infer about a person that labels others a 'climate change denier'?

• They use intimidation and personal attacks of character
• They might be perfectly okay with 'climate change deniers' being imprisoned or punished severely
• They probably accept as truth stories from the media about scientific consensus
• They most likely care about the environment very much
• They might be scared and susceptible to being misled about climate change
