Hi, Hive Runner, how was today's workout? I think you guys have been consistent with your workouts this year. You guys rock :D
Unlike me, I'm still struggling to be consistent with my workouts. I'm being careful not to get injured like last year when I was injured a lot. I try not to increase my pace suddenly and not to stop suddenly either. So I hope this year will be fine and so will the years to come.
This time, I joined my friends for our weekly routine workout, and coincidentally, we were invited to attend a cafe's anniversary celebration.
We started at 6 a.m. For some reason, the sun rises earlier every day, so at 6 a.m., the sky was already bright and warm.
After warming up to increase our heart rates, we started running together.
My initial pace was 8:38/km. We ran along the side of the highway and stopped at one spot to take
photos.
I chose to run at the back of the pack with my friend, running at my own pace, and occasionally walking, while being encouraged by other members. At first, I thought we would run 5 kilometers, but it turned out we would run 6 to 7 kilometers.
However, due to the increasingly hot weather, we ended up only running 6 kilometers.
With an average pace of 9:36/km, I finished strong and happy.
After finishing, we cooled down, took photos, and played games to liven up the cafe's anniversary event. We had a great time together until the event ended.
