🦉 Pallas's grasshopper warbler (Helopsaltes certhiola), also known as the rusty-rumped warbler>
- Helopsaltes - ? To be honest, my etymological reference book does not contain such a name; it was obviously given to the bird quite recently.
- certhiola - diminutive of Certhia ((Greek) a small tree-crawling bird mentioned by Aristotle

Despite the name, this is a bird, not an insect. And the birds of this Locustellidae family were named after the Common grasshopper warbler, which has a voice similar to the chirping of the insect of the same name.
Regarding this species in the photo, we call it "singing grasshopper ". Because its song is beautiful and varied, unlike that of the common grasshopper .

This guy was hiding well in the leaves of a bush on the coast. I heard his voice and started to approach him. With great difficulty I managed to get deeper into the bush and take these photos.
