I wasn't much of a collector in my early stacking years, but over time regular bullion just got kinda boaring to me. So about 6 months ago I started collecting some series coin.
One of the series that caught me eye was the American Western Skulls. They produce this series in a 1oz silver, 1oz antiqued, 5 oz silver and 5 oz antiqued. I went with the 5oz Antiqued, for one reason and one reason only, they have a mintage of 500 coins.
The Indian Chief was the first cpin to be released I this series. You can tell this coin is very detailed and I think the antiqing adds the right touch to the finish product. I got this one a few months back.
Love the eagle skull on the back of the coin.
Well the Osborne Mint Just released the 2018 coin. This one is called the Sharif. It also comes in a 5 oz antiqued, which is the one that I got. Not as much detail in the Sheriff coin as the Indian Cheif but still a well minted coin.
Back of the coin is still the same American eagle skull.
Now in my opinion this series is gonna be worth the price in the long run With the low mintage numbers.
So far both of my COA are below 30 on mint numbers. As you can see this one was number 24. Not bad at all.
I will provide a link if anyone is interested in this series.
Are you buying silver? If not why? What if I told you silver would be @ $100.00 an oz before 2018 ends. Well why wait to see if I am right, just buy it, like you know I am right.
