Today, I made this micro USB charger out of a 6 volt, 1 amp solar cell, for my sister :)
I sanded the teminals a bit, and then soldered on the USB charging cable.
I tried for a minute to get a good picture of the phone showing its charging, but my sister was on her way out, and I didn't want to hold her up too long! Here, it is barley visible.
Yes! It is that simple! I simply took a solar cell, and soldered a charging cable directly to it. It works well!
