Man soll zwar nicht über die Fahrt reden, wenn man so etwas schreibt, aber es ist schon erstaunlich, wie entspant man auf einmal fährt, wenn man Deutschland verlässt und auf begrenzten Autobahnen unterwegs ist. Es gibt selten Drängler, es wird Abstand gehalten und auch die Rettungsgasse funktioniert. Schon sehr komisch, aber angenehm. Da fällt mir der Spruch ein:
Du weißt dass du in Deutschland bist, wenn du bei 240 auf der Autobahn von hinten mit Lichthupe angestrahlt wirst, weil jemand vorbei möchte :P
You should not talk about the ride, if you write something like that, but it's amazing how smoothly you can drive if you leave Germany on limited highways. There are rarely tailgaters, it is kept distance and also the rescue route works. Very funny, but pleasant. That reminds me of the saying:
You know that you are in Germany, if you are tailgated at 240 km/h on the highway from the back with flashing lights, because someone wants to pass: P
Meiner Ansicht nach, gab es hier, allgemein in Ungarn, irgendwann einmal einen Bauboom bzw. eine Phase in der kräftig Renoviert wurde. Alle Häuser und auch Geschäfte sehen vom weiten erst einmal danach aus. Bei näherer Betrachtung scheint es aber schon mehrere Jahre her zu sein und die Fassaden verfallen allmählich. Es wirkt so, als ob das Land stehen geblieben ist. Trotzdem hat es hier einen Charm, der zeitweise an Griechenland und ähnliche Gegenden erinnert. Alles ist individuell gestalltet. Jeder hat seine eigenen Vorstellungen in sein Gebäude einfließen lassen und so kann man hier an jeder Ecke andere Architekturen entdecken. Manche Häuser wirken, wie als ob man sie schon in Filmen gesehen hat. Eines hat mich irgendwie an die Farm Candyland aus Django Unchained erinnert :D
In my opinion, there was a construction boom here, generally in Hungary, at some point, or a phase in which was vigorously renovated. All houses and shops look like that from the wide. On closer examination, however, it seems to have been several years ago and the facades are gradually decaying. It looks as if the land has stopped. Nevertheless, it has a charm that reminds of Greece and similar areas. Everything is individually designed. Everyone has their own ideas flow into their building and so you can discover different architecture here on every corner. Some houses look like they've been seen in movies. One thing somehow reminded me of the farm Candyland from Diango Unchained: D
Da wir uns extra für die Nebensaison entschieden haben, ist hier vergleichsweise wenig los. Dies hat aber einen immensen Vorteil, es sind kaum Touristen hier. Alles ist ruhig und überschaubar. So etwas in einem Ferienort zu haben ist schon sehr angenehm. Dies merkt man auch an den "Stränden", da dort ausreichend Platz für alle herrscht. Ich sage Strände in Anführungszeichen, da es hier nur an abgesperrten Bereichen Sand gibt. Die meisten Zugänge zum Balaton sind über eine kleine Treppe erreichbar, was aber den Badespaß nicht mindert. Das Wasser hier hat eine grün/türkise Färbung, ist sehr sauber und angenehm warm. Zudem ist im Wasser Sand und man hat keine Probleme darin zu laufen. Es ist sowieso erstaunlich, wie aufgeräumt alles ist. Man sieht kaum Dreck oder Müll in den Städten liegen. Nicht wie in div. Großstädten bei uns zuhause...
Since we have decided for the low season, here is comparatively little going on. But this has an immense advantage. There are hardly any tourists here, everything is quiet and manageable. To have something like this in a holiday resort is very pleasant. This is also noticeable on the "beaches", because there is enough space for everyone. I say beaches in quotation marks, because there are only locked areas with sand. Most of the access to Lake Balaton are accessible via a small staircase, but this does not diminish the bathing fun. The water here has a green / turquoise tint, is very clean and pleasantly warm, moreover there is sand in the water and you have no problems walking. Anyway, it's amazing how tidy everything is. You can hardly see any dirt or garbage in the cities. Not as in various large cities in our home ...
Die Stadt / The Town
The people here have somehow all such a calm away, everything is slower than in hectic Germany. That's how you feel when you do not understand us and we try to communicate with our hands, feet, and google translators, which was sometimes very funny. But do not be confused, a lot of them speak English and German. So it is more the exception that one is not understood.
Das Nachtleben / The Nightlife
Since we have low season here, many discos are not open. Nevertheless, in the evening something is going on and you can settle down in one of the many bars. Amazingly, a lot of hous and disco music are playing here. Also during the day. What I personally like a lot, of course :)
You can drink until about 2 o'clock in the bars and eat food. I was amazed at the home-made hamburger, which was not prepared with bought meat. I can only say it was delicious.
