In February on Steam, the game came out MonteCrypto: The Enigma of Bitcoin, consisting of 24 different puzzles. The first player to pass the quest, the developers promised a reward of one bitcoin.
Two months after the release, the authors announced that the game managed to pass the team ARG Solving Station, consisting of eight people. The developers noted that they considered their project as a social experiment. The authors wanted to find out whether the gaming community will share tips and solutions to puzzles or will keep them secret.
ARG Solving Station received one bitcoin, the rate of which at the time of completion of the quest was $ 9,302. Now the developers intend to turn MonteCrypto into a kind of Museum. Earlier in the game you could leave hints for other users, but now this function will be frozen.
