Encryption of file on vlc media player

Problem:
Vlc media player is one of the open source apps prefer due to it quality sound,sharp pictures and other quality features it acquires, but lack of encryption of file on vlc media player is really a source of worry.

Suggestion:
The availability of this feature will help the app user to conceal some important files by making it unreadable or view by public without the owner's knowledge and/or password. I suggest the file should be locked by pattern or password.
