This fish fell to a cube of cheese and slice of garlic close to the far bank. i had to wait 3 hours for the bite, but it was worth the wait. The hardest thing is to not catch smaller fish constantly - less fun when it's nearly 40C in the shade - to single out the larger fish takes good watercraft and confidence that the "bite" will come. Most that i see fishing have the wrong fishing gear and terminal tackle to catch these fish. More often than not, lines are either snapped or rods are pulled in.
