If there is such a thing as "plant porn" this flower is in the running to secure the much coveted title among Craft Cannabis Gardeners and Growers.
This green flower is absolutely stunning with her dark purple leaves, completely loaded white trichomes and orange hairs. (I took this photo using the "macro" setting on my camera so that you could see some detail.)
My friends at Legacy 420 in Tyendinaga Mowhawk Territory, in Ontario, Canada let me look at these buds under a lit magnifying loop and I can tell you that she absolutely sparkles with the biggest crystals, this cannabis-loving girl has ever seen.
I would physically like to bow to the grower of this particular collection of buds. They are spectacular.
Black Diamond's parents are:
- Blackberry;
- and Diamond OG
She, Black Diamond, is a Sativa hybrid clocking in at 20% THC. What's very interesting is that this bud is often listed as an Indica because the Blackberry genetics provide a very peaceful cerebral experience that slows time and fades stress into the distant past. It fades stress so well that you'll be asking yourself "what stress"?
Add in the genetics of Diamond OG and that cerebral, clear minded peace is bolstered with a noticeable but very comfortable, gentle body tingle. This is comparable to the effects of a nice glass of red wine enjoyed by a roaring fire.
Let's have a look at it ground:
The Diamond OG genetics makes these buds extremely sticky.
Here's the plant material loosely packed into the chamber of my CF Boundless vapourizer.
At 370 degrees F, there was a huge amount of visibly thick vapour that quite literally hung in the air. I think this is due to the Blackberry genetics.
The smell is pungent and without a Mylar bag for transportation purposes, you cannot hide the aroma. As soon as I smelled it, I could tell that my body would do very well with this strain.
It tasted even better. Fruity and sweet.
It's effects were outstanding. Great for chronic pain, general happiness and insomnia, without any paranoia or increase in anxiety...not something that I can report about many Sativa strains.
It makes you want to laugh and eat. This is beneficial for those struggling to hang onto their appetite which, is often the case with late stage cancers and other autoimmune diseases.
It is a strain that I "highly", (pun totally intended), recommend that you add to your collection, or at the very least, try.
If you are a gardener and love to grow, getting a clone or seeds for this strain will not disappoint you.
I welcome your comments and I invite you to follow me on my journey.
