Students with the people of Aceh yesterday afternoon released dozens of tails or turtles on the beach of Alue Naga Banda Aceh.
After releasing this cute turtle boy, then followed by a series of environmental activities such as nature conservation seminars, coloring contest, photography competition.
The entire series of events is summarized in the Aceh Natural Resource Conservation Week. This series of events in addition to involving various parties who care about marine ecosystems.
In addition, as many as hundreds of general public are also registered as volunteers in the event. It aims to build a conservation spirit from an early age so that the community is more responsible for its environment.
The form of conservation care from an early age is manifested by various competitions which are followed by kindergarten and elementary school students. Other competitions, such as photography competitions, seminars and environmental actions are open to the public.
Hopefully this activity can foster awareness of the importance of living things in our environment other than humans. Consequently raising public awareness of the conservation of natural resources.
