Hello it's me again. So actually what's going on? Well I can only says is leaking. So I call up a friend of mine come to my area to help me get replace.
How I noticed there's a leak? I have a habit of going through my engine compartment whenever I'm free. Even though just a simply glare or touching around. And I've noticed there's frequently for me to topped up coolant in the spare tank shown as below.
This is my spare tank. As you can see full and low stated on it. And I've been topping up coolant every week due to low.
The other way is go check around your radiator with touch lights. From bottom to behind. As you can see there's a lot stain mark around due to coolant have coloring ( easy for you to spot). Lastly you can tell by smelling the smell of coolant ( if you can tell). Without any hesitate / doubt I know radiator already leaking. So I bought it from shopee.
Whenever you replace a radiator you needed a 4L of coolant as well. Or maybe more depends on model.
So I call my friend up to get it replaced surprisingly he come to me even at night. That's a great job there.
After around 20 mins of stripping, there comes the old radiator. As you can see some color stain from on top and middle itself. Means the leaking from there and spread around. Radiator is an important component for cooling down your engine. That's why I get it replaced immediately even though the leak is not that serious enough. Do remember it contains high pressure whenever your engine is hot. So imagine your driving and suddenly burst with smoke coming out 😞. That would cost you more.
Upon got it replaced is time to add coolant and released the air by warming up your engine. The air will release the air from radiator automatically ( don't close the cap). Go out drive a while and check again tomorrow for coolant level on the spare tank. Well that's for today, do remember do a frequent checkup on your vehicle for safety purposes.
