I wrote a Blogpost i recently deleted. In that Post i really ranted about Steemit and i got more reasons for that but i deleted it because not one of the Readers responded to it and i can understand that. Now i rewrite it with less rant and this will be my last attemp. If the Results are the same now, im sure i will leave and also tell everyone how bad Steemit really is.
Edit: BLEEP i cant leave! To many cool people here. Steemit is a bad drug! Be careful! Dont get addicted! And even when im still here and this Post may even contain wrong or misinterpreted information i wont delete / hide it so you can make up your own opinion or even tell me that im wrong. Please keep that in mind if you really like to read this and do prove me wrong if you can, i have no problem with being wrong sometimes.
I know im just little Plankton even outside of Steemit but i also do know about networking effects and we all can kill steemit if we want to! Keep that in Mind you Whales. Money cant fix everything and if more and more People think that Steemit is fishy you cant pay away the smelliness. ;)
This is pretty simple. Steemit has a real advantage and it is really good in terms of the overall performance as social network. You really can find interesting content here but i think it has a big drawback.

This Topic is really important to us all and if you read it please resteem and join the Conversation!
This is what makes me angry and i will go into detail about that:
Your Posts can only generate income the first 7 Days. After that, every single Upvote is donated to the steemit network. Forever! This is fishy as fuck and i really hate that.
As is said you cant delete information written here, meaning if (for instance) i would be drunken and write my biggest secrets here, its for everyone to see as long as People use Steemit! And this shit gets even worse...
Lots of Spammers and Scammers here (ok i know they are everywhere in the Internet). Im just here for a few days and in the very fist minute i posted into introduceyourself the first bots appeared. Some of them are even ok but there are Users who copy paste their bullshit "Welcome - nice read blabla". And if you take a closer look you even find out they didnt read because they spam comments every single minute in every introduceyourself. But i wont go into detail on this one as the voting and flagging system seems to work good. The only thing to keep in mind is that we are the Content-Police here and we do need to flag sometimes.
What i really hate about the 7 Days Rule
Even the big FAQ doesnt go into detail about that Rule. But i guess for many of us this is the most important information in the whole FAQ. Why is it only 7 Days?
Y U make💩 💩shit Steemit?!
My Content maybe is written now and talking about something that is not valuable at the Moment but could be valuable years later. And then Steemit makes the big bargain with MY Content! Go f*** yourself Steemit! Really!
The first time i was reading about Steemit i thought to myself, this sounds so good. What a good idea! But now im delusioned. When you search more on the Topic in general you will find Identity theft, scam and the posibillity of a useless Blockchain. But thats another story...
What im asking myself is, why dont they lower the Upvote Revenue by 50% and split the other 50% back to Steemit but let the users be paid for the content as long as it is online? Maybe the answer is really simple: Because then they would not earn Money with YOUR Content and it seems they want to earn a lot!
You think you earn Money here? No you dont! They earn Money with you and this will be more and more the more users join. Also the Money to earn here will (thats just my guess. We need Mathematicans here!) be lower and lower.
Think about it like that. You wrote a Post, earn 7 days and People still upvote it. Maybe even in 50 Years that post has Value! If someone does the Math you see how much Money Steemit will make from that content. This is just my assumption but i think this one is logical, right?
What i really hate about the Edit feature
So i understand that information on the Blockchain is persistent but i can edit my Blogpost (The old information is still there if someone digs for it). But why am i not allowed to edit it in a Month?
Simply because someone decided to. Why not place a Delete button and everybody who presses it gets into a new section called "Stupid fucks tried to delete" for everyone to see? Im sure sooner or later someone will come up whit that "Feature" if not even done already.
But lets go back to Editing. You Create a great Post and put much effort in, placed like 10 Links and a half year later you will find out that 3 of the Links were broken and changed now. Real Value of your Post? Gone! No way to change that as you paid out your Post already. The only thing you can do is to rewrite but you need to write it different because maybe you will be even flagged by bots comparing your content with your content and state you did plagiarize! Funny, huh? xD
People who read the old Post are just in bad luck and maybe they are lucky enough to find a comment that links to the new Post. But that requires upvotes too and if already 500 Comments in your Post after a few years, the chances for the most usefull comment to be detected are lower and lower with every single "Good read.." Spamcomment.
Please let me rant now. I feel the need to...
Im sorry i begin the Rant again. I conducted to Rewrite the Post i deleted and try to stay cool but i cant, sorry. This makes me really angry. Are they really trying to play us a sucker? I linked this article because the real irony is that this guy is writing this on steemit itself:
"Always remember that the odds need to be in your favor in order to expect to win.
If you don't expect to win by having the math in your favor than you are a sucker."
Are we Steemians all suckers dear ? Did you do the Maths? Please tell me if you know more!
Hey Sucker! Do you still enjoy Steemit?
Im really bad at maths but i can do estimations. I never Blogged before but i know one thing: If you got a good Blog running it brings you a passive income from every visitor and if you also use Affiliates you may even make much more money in a Lifetime than all of your Steem Posts together. Sure, it may be harder to gain Followers but there are Solutions too. The Blog can even create revenue when you are dead and still support your Family or Friends. How about Steemit? What is the Solution for Steemit?
And please dont start talking abut that "Vote Delegation" or "Curation"... Bullshit. I dont want to give my vote to bots who vote for stuff i have no control over.
To me, steemit sounds like a Ponzi scheme now and im not alone:
https://steemit.com/steemit/@afilja/is-steemit-a-ponzi-lets-investigate
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1558366.0
There are even people stating the opposite but i think thats utter bullshit.
"Also, there is no solicitation for an initial investment. Anyone can join the site for free if the like. Ponzi's require new money coming in to keep the cycle going. There is no requirement for new money on Steemit."
True, we can join for free, but someone paid our fee and these people are calculating with our stupidity and many of us may buy Steem Power just because they can or feel the need to. There IS new Money flowing in and if the Whales would like to throw money out of the window there would be better options to burn money. They invested because they expect return. Do you really think the return comes from the Whales themselfes or out of thin air dear ?
You also talking about everyone operating under the same set of rules, and thats true but ponzi schemes only exist in capitalism and Steemit is a capitalistic System. Meaning that the People with the big money can make much more money than people who start with nothing. Steemit may be the solution to censorship but thats all and some of us pay a high price for that. I would really love to hear your argumentation. Im really open minded and if someone can convince me, thats fine. Please do it. Tell me what you think.

I dont say you cant earn Money on Steemit and i dont say you need to pay something. Please dont get me wrong. But i do say that most of us (thinking about 99,9% or so) are loosing this game simply because we give away our content much too cheap even if we would earn like 300$ per Post! But that number (as i guessed before) will be lower and lower the more people will join because less Whales vote for your good content and what will happen when they cash out their whole investment?
I know that Whales believe in Steemit and invested a lot of Money. They even give us part of that for free just to make Steemit grow and thats good but i do need to ask myself if they are suckers too? Did they do the maths? Did they figure out most of us are just here because we got the Dollars in the eyes? Did they estimate we are stupid fucks and we dont notice how they bleed us out by giving us something like 1% of the cake?
As im quite new to Steemit i may even misunderstood one or two things. If you think so, just send a Comment!
And while we are talking about comments. Does the 7 Day Payout shit also apply to comments or do they get rewareded a longer time? I couldnt find anything on that. Maybe its even the Comments who add Value to a Post and also the original Poster gets rewareded and i just misunderstood? Please let me know. I read a lot but there is always the possibility to miss important information.
You should need to know that all MLM and Moneyscam Systems trying to install a nebulous set of rules so noone can understand he is being ripped off. He is just blinded by big numbers. Do you understand now why im really concerned? Even i as a digital native got problems understanding Steemits System and WHY it is like it is. And if Steemit is about to make something that lasts for a long time, they should seriously change it. If they dont, i dont care that much and im just saying bye bye. But think about the Millions being ripped off in the next years if my assumption is correct.
