Looks like I took an unintentional break from my Hive activities and that includes creating content. I still have the poker forum--- potentially discord channel in the back of my mind. I did take steps to initiate the process. I had the start of an online site created but have since "deleted it". I did research and allot of other stuff including introducing myself back into the poker world. Life has a way of deciding what ones plans are better than one can decide themselves. Thus the poker idea got put on the back burner. I fully intend on following through with some test tournaments to see if I can make such a thing viable. I just didn't get to that part of the process before needing to pump the breaks. I was at the point where I was about to reach out to see if I can negotiate some tournaments with some previous partners of mine; to see if we have enough players to sustain sponsored games.
There is a community of poker players here on the Hive Blockchain but with government regulations not allowing certain country's to play it puts a monkey wrench into things. There are sites that walk the line with such things but I'd prefer familiarity when first kick starting a potential series of re-occurring tournaments. I won't be mentioning the forum/discord again until I have games ready to go. The next post I make about such will have a detailed partnership and sponsored tournaments. I'm not sure when that will be but it will be. I'll be back to playing again soon. A break was needed from all things poker to reset my mindset as to initiate my original plan of action at the tables. The removal of the second half of my strategy was needed. A break was required to make sure I didn't lean back into such. Next month sometime I will be back to playing poker daily. I'll be adding some sit n goes to my tournament list. In-fact micro 50/50 sit n goes is what I will be initially playing. As to not burn myself out I will pick a specific number of sit n goes to play daily and once the quota is hit that will be it for the day.

I haven't checked on my Hive assets in some weeks. Looks like SURGE (Inleo linked token) has taken a beating. I hold roughly what was suppose to be $4200 USD worth of SURGE yield. Current value of that $4200+ yield is $217 USD (Yikes). There's still potential here. Some weeks back the creators of the token created a post detailing a plan of action. A plan of action that seems to not come to be. Essentially they were to take what was suppose to be the yield payments and purchase the token with it. Thus taking some of the supply of SURGE off the market which would of very likely pushed the value of SURGE back closer to its yield value of $1 USD per 1 SURGE. At the time of that post SURGE had a USD value allot higher than today's. To be honest with you It's likely I purchase more of it as a punt. Recovering the value of my overall cryptocurrency portfolio or at least a significant portion of its peak value using what I already have seems to be a task that is not likely to happen without taking such punts. A reset is needed here as well and I plan on doing that but that is even further down the line. At least I have experience on my side this time. It was a great ride and lots of valuable intelligence was earned. I wouldn't change a thing about this cryptocurrency journey that I am on. That's it for now. This post is essentially to slap myself in the face to get me back to creating content. Upcoming content: Splinterlands / Gaming / Poker and who knows what else. As always; thanks for reading. We hope to see you at our next post.
