Yesterday it was brought to my attention that talks are heating up about the Hive Blockchain moving towards a model that removes access to the HIVE Token Reward Pool for content creators. In other words no more HIVE Token rewards for your created content (blog Posts, comments, threads ect.). I will refrain from my own personal opinion of this as this post purpose is to help spread the word of what is being discussed. You might ask yourself where was this discussed (On the platform formally known as Twitter).
X (Twitter) is the platform that hosts the Hive Community Town Halls. I have no clue when these Town Halls take place or when the next one is. If you are finding this out for the first time please don't panic. Even if it was decided to do such a thing (remove pool rewards) allot of other mechanics would need to be in place first. For example how will voting for witness work? How are we going to onboard newbies? So while this is a hot topic and something that might come to be, its still in its "lets talk about this" phase.

Just as deeandmathews encouraged me to visit the ifarmgirl post I am encouraging you to do the same. Regardless of what your opinion is please do speak up. Its the witnesses that implement changes to the blockchain but it is YOU who vote in the witnesses. Regardless of if you have 1 HIVE Token or 1 Million Hive Tokens, your opinion matters.
