My Punks on Hive Top Line!

Its been an interesting ride so far with Punks on Hive. The project was released a few weeks ago and I had to go total ape into this project.

Being a huge HIVE fan and a crypto OG, I felt as a collector, this project hit all the right spots for me.

Thanks to Hive account@kevinli, I found out about this project through his Twitter Post.

If I missed the 20 HIVE mint, I might of never joined this project. Im not a fan of getting into a project after the ground floor has been established.

The minting was a little strange and Kevin warned me that I'd need to wait hours before I'd see what I got. This was due to the custom smart contract made by Hive account@themarkymark where it took the blocks to catch up to all the orders and then minting them with their custom properties.

This project was a spin off on the original PUNKS on Ethereum, but this version saw the punks facing LEFT with Names and Occupations. This added so much extra flavor to them. Not to mention the lighter blue background that also stands out from the originals.

So I minted all day and had to wait till the next morning to find out what punks I got. I was lucky to pull an Alien, which only two exist! I can't tell you how excited I was to get this guy. I've had a couple DM's with people trying to buy this guy already. Im not too sure what he's worth to be honest.

I did purchase many Punks off the in game Market the first two days the market went live. This played out to be a smart move as I scooped up many 3D glasses and rare punks people put a low value on!

I also made a huge purchase of 100 Punks off a private seller for $3000 worth of HIVE and of course, HIVE pumped right after that lol.

I wasn't mad, I was happy with all the punks I got and thats just crypto for you.

In conclusion, I'm really waiting to see what happens to the project. There has been some huge sales in the last couple of weeks, so there is long term interest in the project. I also have a couple ideas that might be flushed out in 2022 but it will take A LOT of work to complete and not sure im ready to take on more work at the moment. So we'll wait and see. I think now is still a good time to buy some floor punks if you have not already because you never know what utility these things might have down the road.
