Nigeria defender, Kenneth Omeruo has joined Spanish side, Leganes on a Season-Long long from Premier League giants, Chelsea.
Omeruo who signed a new contract at the Bridge prior to the start of the 2017/2018 season has opened up on his frustration at lack of playing time for the Blues.
After signing the contract last season, he joined Turkish side, Kasimpasa on loan, where he made 28 Liga appearances, finding the back of the net on one occasion.
His performance in Turkey earned him a place in the Nigerian squad to the 2018 World Cup in Russia, where he played in two games as Nigeria crashed out in the group stage.
Hopefully, he would get enough playing time at Leganes to impress new manager, Maurizio Sarri's to earn him a place in the Chelsea squad but he definitely has to wait another whole season, if that were to happen.
His loan move to Leganes will be his 7th since signing for Chelsea from Standard Liege in January 2012.
Omeruo was presented to fans alongside other players at Leganes on Tuesday but would be officially unveiled on Friday.
