🎇 SUBJECT: "IF"
📕TODAY'S TEXT:
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17.
🔑🔐 KEY VERSE:
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).
💞 CENTRAL TRUTH:
Men can only tell that a man is in Christ when they see the new nature of Christ in him.
🖊️ MAIN DISCOURSE:
It is easy to tell that a person is in Christ. People will see for themselves your new creation lifestyle even without you telling them about it.
In our text for today, the Apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthian church informing them about what it means to be in CHRIST JESUS.
To be in Christ means to have Christ seen in you, instead of your inherited habits from Adam and your family lineage.
If I am in Christ, I am immersed in Christ. By implication, Christ has become my identity and character.
Many people who claim to have become new a creation lack the very characteristics of Christ's nature.
The word of God says "IF". "If any man be in Christ".
It doesn't matter who or what you used to be, whether it was a murderer, prostitute or other kind of criminal.
If you come into Christ there must be evidence that you are now in Him.
"For in Him we live, move and have our being.."
New creation realities are not just a matter of words but of character and an attitude of Jesus Christ being expressed and impressed in the lives of men through you.
Glory to God!
The earlier we begin to go through this route the better for us as the body of Christ.
I think we have said so much about our NEW CREATION REALITIES, It's now time to SHOW THE WORLD OUR NEW CREATION CHARACTERS!
