Mi Querida Tía Miriam
Good morning. Today I'm showing you the timelapse video of my drawing: My Dear Aunt Miriam.
En el video podrán apreciar cómo voy realizando el dibujo comenzando después que termino la cuadrícula. Siempre comienzo realizando trazos claros para evitar borrones en caso de que salga mal pero también di dibujamos clarito y estructuramos bien el modelo a dibujar, aunque hagamos miles de líneas claras, no hace falta borrarlas porque al final, son tapadas por el claroscuro. Durante el proceso de dibujo verán cómo voy dibujando desde valores tonales altos( claros) y voy dando valores medios y bajos (medios y oscuros) progresivamente y después realizar algún detalle. Nunca me enfrasco en hacer el realismo de un elemento y después pasar a hacer otro elemento. Voy dibujando de lo general a lo particular.
In the video, you'll be able to see how I go about making the drawing, starting after I finish the grid. I always begin by making light strokes to avoid smudges in case something goes wrong, but also, if we draw lightly and properly structure the model to be drawn — even if we make thousands of light lines — we don't need to erase them because in the end, they get covered by the chiaroscuro. During the drawing process, you'll see how I start with high tonal values (lights), then progressively apply medium and low values (midtones and darks), and finally add some details. I never get stuck trying to render one element realistically before moving on to another. I draw from the general to the specific.

Para realizar el dibujo utilicé:
-lápiz HB.
-2B con extensor inventado.
- lapicero transformado a portaminas de mina 5B.
- hoja de papel para apoyar la mano y evitar que se ensucie tanto el dibujo como la mano.
- pincel.
- goma moldeable.
- lácar de pelo para fijar el grafito( usen fijadores profesionales para dibujo si es posible) Eviten rociar demasiado el dibujo porque la hoja puede deformarse.
To make the drawing I used:
- HB pencil.
- 2B pencil with an improvised extender.
- Pen transformed into a mechanical pencil with 5B lead.
- Sheet of paper to rest my hand and prevent both the drawing and my hand from getting dirty.
- Brush.
- Kneaded eraser.
- Hair lacquer to fix the graphite (use professional drawing fixatives if possible)Avoid spraying too much on the drawing because the paper may warp.
