Good day. Today I introduce the villain who bewitched Roy, our Hero of Tra-Ding, with her beauty. Behold the face of:
The charming Greed.
Codicia es una demonio joven que hechiza a todos con su belleza y delicadeza pero no ven su malicia, por eso "mueren" en su encanto. A su lado todo es hermoso y posible, todos son jóvenes, hábiles, fuertes, inteligentes y grandes inversores. Todo es un hechizo que ella lanza a sus víctimas con su mirada y al final se convierten en sus víctimas cuando pueden ver la tenebrosa imagen en su párpado y el suelo que pisan.
Greed is a young demon who enchants everyone with her beauty and delicacy, but they do not see her malice. That is why they “die” in her charm. By her side everything is beautiful and possible; everyone is young, skillful, strong, intelligent, and great investors. It is all a spell she casts upon her victims with her gaze, and in the end they become her prey when they can finally see the sinister image in her eyelid and the ground beneath their feet.
Me gustó dibujar a la villana Greed que tiene hechizado a Roy pero él podrá escapar de su hechizo pronto pues su fuerza de voluntad con firmes principios y disciplina la alejarán. La disciplina y principios firmes la auyentan. Ella huele las debilidades de las personas como los tiburones con la sangre en el mar y rápidamente contacta con su víctima. Aunque su belleza no representa el terrible peĺigro que ella es, al igual que Apa-Góng, es un ser INMORTAL 😱
I enjoyed drawing the villain Greed, who has Roy under her spell, but he will soon escape it, for his willpower with firm principles and discipline will drive her away. Discipline and strong principles banish her. She smells people’s weaknesses like sharks smell blood in the sea, and quickly reaches her victim. Although her beauty does not reveal the terrible danger she is, like Apa-Góng, she is IMMORTAL 😱
Para realizar el dibujo utilicé:
- lápiz HB2
- lapiz 2B con extensor inventado
- portaminas inventado de minas 5B
- lápiz de color verde
- lápiz de color amarillo
- bicolor rojo y azul
- goma moldeable
- bolígrafo sin tinta
- pincel
- hoja de papel para evitar dañar la obra y no ensuciarme la mano.
To make the drawing I used:
- HB2 pencil
- 2B pencil with an improvised extender
- Improvised mechanical pencil with 5B leads
- Green colored pencil
- Yellow colored pencil
- Red-blue bicolor pencil
- Kneaded eraser
- Inkless pen
- paintbrush
- Sheet of paper to avoid damaging the artwork and to keep my hand clean.
Paso a paso/Step by step
Como es costumbre, comienzo a dibujar clarito y a estructurar los elementos del dibujo y después vienen los valores tonales.
As is my custom, I start with gentle strokes to shape the drawing’s elements, and only then do the tonal values emerge.
Aquí fui dibujando con diferentes valores tonales altos y medios las variadas áreas de Codicia y el suelo. Me demoré un poquito en la realización de la zona del pelo por la colocación de las velas japonesas porque cambié el diseño del voceto. Ésto me suele pasar, cuando comienzo a dibujar cambio partes del boceto de la obra. Terminando con el pelo dibujé con colores.
Here I was drawing with different high and mid tonal values the various areas of Greed and the ground. I took a little longer working on the hair area because of the placement of the Japanese candlesticks, since I changed the design of the sketch. This often happens to me—when I start drawing, I change parts of the sketch of the work. After finishing the hair, I drew with colors.
Después de dibujar con colores, defino la figura del personajes con líneas que permiten definirla y resaltarla. Comencé a bajar los valores tonales en algunas zonas como el vestido y las gafas. También trabajé un poco el suelos con manchas y trazos sueltos con el lápiz.
After drawing with colors, I define the character’s figure with lines that allow me to outline and highlight it. I began lowering the tonal values in some areas such as the dress and the glasses. I also worked a little on the ground with patches and loose strokes using the pencil.
Dejé para el final, dibujar las pestañas y las desestresantes espirales que dibujo en el pelo. Son bastantes pero no me cansan, me relajan y resaltan mucho el dibujo.
I left for the end the drawing of the eyelashes and the relaxing spirals I make in the hair. There are quite a few, but they don’t tire me; they relax me and greatly enhance the drawing.
Hay momentos que las expresiones o formas de mis personajes, me gustan más en los bocetos que en la obra terminada. ¿Qué opinan del boceto y el resultado final?
There are moments when I like the expressions or shapes of my characters more in the sketches than in the finished work. What do you think of the sketch and the final result?
