Greetings, hivers.
A few weeks ago a friend called me to help him with a photography job, specifically a wedding where the clients had allocated a significant budget and everything had to be perfect. Four roofless classic cars were rented, and during one part of the event we went out to tour Havana, photographing the newlyweds in different parts of the city.
It had been a long time since I worked this way, and I have to say it was a lot of fun. The adrenaline of moving fast, adapting to each situation, and doing whatever it takes to secure the shot is an intense and stimulating experience. The job turned out very well. I used to do more work like this, and I thought I might be a bit rusty, but not at all.
The end of the route was returning through the streets of our beloved Centro Habana in the middle of a massive blackout, which only eased when we arrived at the hotel to continue with the wedding party.
Obviously I cannot share photos of the clients without their authorization, so today I bring you some images of the cars, which were beautiful, and part of the route. When the bride returns to select the photos, I will ask for permission to share some more.

Hace unas semanas un amigo me llamó para ayudarlo con un trabajo de fotografía, específicamente una boda donde los clientes habían destinado un presupuesto considerable y todo tenía que salir perfecto. Se rentaron cuatro autos clásicos sin techo y en una parte del evento salimos a recorrer La Habana para fotografiar a los esposos por distintos puntos de la ciudad.
Hacía mucho tiempo que no trabajaba de esta manera y debo decir que es muy divertido. La adrenalina de moverse rápido, adaptarse a cada situación y hacer lo necesario para asegurar la foto es una experiencia intensa y estimulante. El trabajo quedó muy bien. Antes hacía más cosas como esta y pensé que podía estar un poco oxidado, pero no, para nada.
El cierre del recorrido fue regresar por las calles de nuestra querida Centro Habana en medio de un apagón enorme, que solo se alivió cuando llegamos al hotel para continuar con la fiesta de la boda.
Obviamente no puedo compartir fotos de los clientes sin su autorización, así que hoy les traigo algunas imágenes de los autos, que estaban preciosos, y de parte del trayecto. Cuando la novia regrese a seleccionar las fotos le pediré permiso para compartir algunas más.
