I like windows and I don't even know why. Every time I go to some place new, the windows are one of the first things that catch my eye. From all shapes and sizes, old or new, and some creepy ones :)
Here are 10 of several portuguese windows that I came across over the years.
A classic portuguese window in Óbidos.
An old Gothic style window from Carmo Convent in Lisbon.
A broken window :(
A window from an abandoned house.
A window from Porto Covo, located along the Alentejo coast.
Miniature windows and balconies in Portugal dos Pequenitos, which is a theme park in Coimbra that consists of diminutive versions of Portuguese houses and monuments.
Windows in circle shape.
Another miniature window from Portugal dos Pequenitos.
Windows from inside of the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha, in Coimbra.
This window is from the inside of the Capela dos Ossos (Chapel of Bones), in Évora. This small chapel has the interior walls covered with human skulls and bones.
