For those of you who have been following along, you'll remember that my granddaughter, (I've only got one so far), has been learning to create art since she exited the pupae stage of her development. Until recently, she was mostly experimenting with tasting the crayons and felt pens, but she has turned a corner and now intentionally makes marks on paper....and the table and her books and her clothes and her own hands and face and.....
It's amazing how enthusiastic her drawing has become. I frequently see her with a writing utensil in each hand furiously marking her media in thick, frenetic bursts. Thrilling!
Here are a couple of examples (with some collaborative elements provided by yours truly...)
I'm impressed! Honestly, I would be surprised if non-experts could tell, for certain, which scribbles were mine and which were the babies!
I can't wait to see how her skills develop! And you can bet you ASS that I'm expecting her to share the wealth when she gets rich and famous!!!
That's all...short post... But cool art, right???
