This day, I intend to drift from the usual. I simply would want to go on a journey with you, and I need you to allow me.
How many times have you taken the breath of life for granted? The most invaluable, yet the least valued gift in the eyes of man.
A chilling news I got this morning has reorganized my thoughts about life and its complexity.
Little did I know that it was possible for a bubbly young lady who is absolutely full of life, to go to bed unscathed, and then fail to wake up the next morning. Did she decide to tune her alarm clock to a perpetual snooze? Now she’s irresponsive to stimuli. Is this what people call death?
It easily plucks you out like a leaf hanging loosely from the stem, and simply can’t be bothered.
In my deepest of self, I therefore have come to a realization that anytime we go to bed, it is a dicey task, and waking up without even a scratch on the face, indeed is a milestone.
We honestly must be popping champagne each time we get out of bed.
So to those whom when people greet 'Good morning ' and you respond, 'What is good about the morning? ' You indeed owe the Giver of Life an apology.
If you can’t lift up your hands in gratitude, you might as well not put up that attitude. Let’s be thankful in all our ways, and tell a brother to love another.
