Just a little post to show you my yesterday evening catch. I was coming back home from the evening walk with my dogs and just at the entrance of the little road that brings to my home, on the gravel I find a snake. It was eating a frog right in the middle of the road. I try to take some pictures with my phone to identify the little guy because there is no light there. But I can't make what kind of snake it was. So I bring the dogs back home catch a big plastic basket and go back at the entrance of the road. I seat next to the snake until it ends its diner than catch it by the tail so he cannot bite me put it in the basket and back home to look at what kind it is. When I arrive next to a light source I take a look at it and find out that it is a Kukri Snake but it has something really strange to it. The upper part of its body looks very similar to a Banded Kukri and Brown Kukri but the lower body was the one of a Striped Kukri, I don't know what to make of its strange mix as if it is a genetic mix between the different Kukri it will not show in this strange way. Anyway, I release the little guy about (60 cm long) in my backyard until the next one shows up.
