HI EVERYONE! IT'S ME!
The freak one who use fractals those days as a way of expresion and other sord of stuff
Hi steemians, recently I've been very fascinated with the motion of the sea and the microscopic world habited by these really tiny creatures who has found it's own life purpose in a drop of water. The first impresión I have when I see the videos of the annual winners of the Nikon's Small World in Motion 2018 (An annual contest by Nikon were photographers and enthusiasts take photos and videos in order to reveal the wonderful world hidden on a light microscope) was "It's too beautiful to let it pass, I have to make something like this" So I decide to imitate the light and the texture of the algae in the sea, but like if it's forming under the glass of a dirty aquarium, using fractal formulas, and playing with the ambient occlusion, texture, depth and reflection, I can imitate the different elements that make us thing "This thing is under the water", such like the green / blue turquoise water, blue and yellow light, cells forming with and artificial touch that made those look almost like carbon fiber, and of course, the beautiful bubbles of dirt in the water.

This series, it's related to the SEA FOOD Fractal Sculpture, both of them recreated the effects ad the beauty of the water in different situation, and how the element always take over and adapt thing on it's own environment just like it has it's own mind (and it has) but it's not only the beauty of nature, it's the chaotic expression of the fractal formulas the real responsible of the similarity of these pieces with the reality and the proximity with the unconscious being inside the spectator's mind, it happened because fractals are a human mathematical expression of the geometry of nature.

The geometry of nature is fragile, unique, randomly organized, but at the same time has a unique structure that can be dangerous, silent and wrought with so many defensive mechanisms, the light and the water was your home in one time, it makes us feel secured "Mother Oceania" has follow us for centuries and eons since we came out her wet embrace and now it make us feel nostalgic but scare at the same time, For this and too many reasons why, this series represent an acquired and instincts taste of sea salt and moss ironically.
