If you love being a sandwich artist, you better strive to be the best sandwich artist there ever was.
If you love being a janitor, you better strive to be the best janitor there ever was.
Nothing is worth doing if you don’t do it 100%.
Whatever you decide to do, do it for yourself. Do it because you love to do it. Not because it will make you rich or famous.
Also, don’t overestimate the benefits of being rich or famous.
Famous people are followed every minute of every day by the paparazzi. Every action of theirs is scrutinized. Their wealth is being scavenged at every corner by jealous friends.
Whatever you do, strive for success. Strive, don’t settle. Be hungry, not mediocre.
Whatever you need, gather it. Whatever you want, chase it. Whenever you can, give it back.
