When we understand that our body is a gift which we got from God that's when we will take good care of it. Scripture teaches that we are stewards of what He has entrusted to us, including our physical well-being. This means making wise choices in how we eat, rest, and live. A balanced lifestyle moderation in food, regular rest, and avoidance of harmful habits reflects obedience and gratitude toward God.
Being healthy spiritually reflects in our real life situations. Practices such as prayer, faith, and peace of mind contribute to overall well-being. When we release anxiety and trust in God, we reduce stress and cultivate inner strength. The Bible encourages believers to maintain a joyful heart, which has a positive effect on the body and mind.
1 Corinthians 6:19–20, “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”
This verse calls us to live in a way that honors God, including taking care of our health through disciplined and faithful living.
