What God usually consider is how good our heart looks but not how our outward looks maybe. A person may belong to a religion and still not truly know God, while another person may sincerely seek truth, love, and righteousness. In the Bible, Cornelius was a man who feared God and did good even before fully understanding the gospel. This shows that God cares about faith, humility, and obedience.
At the same time, the Bible teaches that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ. We should take Christianity as a tradition but a religion where we can have a personal relationship with God. The Bible encourages all people, whether religious or not, to repent, believe in God, and live according to His word. God invites everyone to come to Him because He desires the salvation of all people.
The Bible also warns against rejecting God completely or living without spiritual direction. People without religion may still have a conscience and know right from wrong, but the Bible teaches that human wisdom alone is not enough to fully understand God’s will. True peace and eternal hope are found through knowing and following God sincerely with faith and love.
