Who Am I? It is an "ancient" question, isn't it?
So.. let's start...
I’m named Ivone. My pronouns are she/her/hers.
I’m fair-skinned Asian. I'm cis-gendered woman and I'm still single at 42.
I am stubborn as hell and will not budge when I know I am right.
I love growing my own veggies, even if only in pots on a balcony.
I know how to fix general electronics, like iron and lighting fixtures.
I can clean the inside of a computer and yes, I know the difference between a floopy disk and usb drive.
I’m an ambivalent, leaning on introvert with moderate mood swing and a temper you wish you never know.
I love to eat and cook all food, one of my stress managements.
I love all chocolate, especially dark chocolate. I love stinky fruit, especially durian.
I can ferment food, such as kimchi, sauerkraut and pickles.
I love organic brewing, learned to make Jun, Kombucha and Tepache. Have 4 years old Jun and Tepache.
I love single and blended malts and its derivatives, Bushmills is one of my favourites.
I love music and to sing, but not in public, unless it is in mass and church.
I have a degrees in economic management, but I hate accounting, in spite of the fact that I work with it most of the time.
I was the first person in my immediate family to get a Bachelor’s degree, probably the only one, till the next generation.
I love all food, but I’m mostly omnivorous with balance in veggies and fruits.
I grew up in a town called Medan, North Sumatera, Indonesia and moved away at 29.
I am bilingual in formal Indonesian and English since I was 6 years old, adding spoken Fujian (a Chinese dialect) at age 12, but never studies abroad.
I love to pick up verses and phrases in other languages from all around the world, like c'est la vie, muchas gracias, ich liebe dich and danke school.
I grew up in frugal family, save every penny earned before spending it. Wear 5yrs old shoes and 10yrs old clothes, never follow trend and only wear classic.
First time I am abroad at age 29 and it is the first time I used my passport. That year, I move out of my parent's house, the town and the island altogether. I never regret it and never look back.
I also speak fluent sarcasm and asking inquisitive questions. Oh yes, I have a built-in lie detector.
I taught myself to knit from internet with Google and Youtube. I learn to be patient by learning to knit, not the other way around.
I can also sew, embroider, crochet and spin.
I love to teach knitting to anyone who is seriously want to learn and pay attention.
I love nature exploring, taking picture of nature and candid photography of people's quirks, not always appreciated, but I do not care… half of the times.
I’m tall and big bone woman with extra on the side and I find it tiring, so going down 10kgs is in order. I have big feet, making it easy to buy shoes for dad, but not for mom.
I’m a very serious person with a very complicated way of thinking that annoy most men.
I love making change happen, but I hate fighting people for the changes.
