It looks like Haaland is not done this season in the premier league. That statement in itself is an irony. He has been the most prolific player in the league. He opened the scoring when City met Liverpool in the EFL cup. City went on to win the game 3-2 with Haaland opening the scoring spree that saw 5 goals in total.
The defending champions are now out of the competition. Mo Salah managed to score, showing how good he is in his goal scoring form. It is sad to see the way Liverpool are managing this season. With Spurs, Newcastle knocking down the giants, it would be interesting to see the battle for the top four. EPL is fun to watch with so many teams with the ability to compete for the top four spots.
City will now play Southampton in the quarter finals while their city rivals Manchester United will lock horns with Charlton who edged past Brighton in the second round. So many good games are coming up in the series.
