and you have no finishing kick to stave off the other top runners. Just throw in the towel.
He had an seemingly insurmountable lead in the Race...
no way he can lose it. But then those seeds of doubt that have been directed at him for not finishing a Race strong come in to play.
So he has to rely on his own Guts and Perseverance...
and the belief that contrary to the naysayers he is good enough to win and to come out on top.
