In the lesson we learned that there are some words that could be expressed un many ways. They are called arrays and string, this two come together to form a code of words that may seem random but with a hidden message. The ceasar cipher is a good example of how a secret message would look like. https://demonstrations.wolfram.com/SimpleCaesarCipher/. This example here is the best representation of a secret message it consists of words in a random order. This type of encryption is to prevent leakage of information you want to tell others. There could also be numbers with letters used for encryption to it more harder to decode it is by a simple person or a person who has no knowledge at all. This is often used in passwords of social media accounts. Each number could replace a letter that corresponds to the given code. This enables us to manipulate words and numbers if we wanted to pass on a secret message to our friends.
Data encryption is where some critical information maybe hidden from many people like passwords, important files, etc. This requires an authentication so that no other person would be able to use or edit the files that are encrypted by the user. It might be hard for others to fully understand how this works and what it really does but it helps us block unwanted guests entering our personal space in the cyberspace.
